W Boston

Boston, Massachusetts

Boston’s fighting spirit is encapsulated perfectly in this boutique hotel’s renovation. The walls give tribute to the rebels and revolutionaries that Massachusetts is known for. Grand Image provided three massive (6’ x 8’) skeleton leaf artworks with hand-sculpted, hammered copper wire finishing. Woven masterfully into these outlines are discreet pagan symbols honoring nearby Salem and the rebellious spirit of the witches who called this area home.

The shapes hammered into the leaves include the sun wheel, air, earth, fire, water, the eye of Ra, ankh, pentacle, triple moon, and the triquetra.
