Grand Image approaches with the belief that art advising should deliver the wow factor and we think that doing it from the onset and boldly is a great way to go. This was our approach at the arcade entrance to Avalon North Station – a state-of-the-art apartment complex that injects an extra dash of elegance into the Boston skyline with its 38-storey glass and aluminum shimmer. Whether viewing it for the first or hundred-and-first time, The Studio’s stunning custom-designed digital collage beckons you to all but step into its three outsize panels where historic shots of Boston are woven into an imaginary cityscape full of metropolitan buzz.

Moving inside, Avalon North Station's elements of grand urban luxury and its melding of materials such as walnut, stone, and black granite guided the inspiration for our art installation. Starting from the lobby, a custom circular painting fills a wood-paneled wall as the flames from a striking fireplace pulsate nearby. The textural diversity continues in the residents' lounge with a multi-piece glass sculpture, an artwork commissioned from Soffi Studio and a great example of how – from owner to artisan - collaboration fires us and forms an integral part of our design processes.
No corner of the complex has been ignored - the unique art enhancements covering everything from the fitness center to the Sky Pavilion and even the animal residents of Avalon North Station have not been forgotten. The Pet Spa sports a pair of framed paper prints that show man's best friend at his most appealing with a series of chromaluxe silhouettes opposite adding a little canine fun to the tiled walls.
According to Avalon North Station, we should 'live awesome' and take hold of the things we love. In this collaboration with our design consultants, the complex's multi-use spaces are now complete with an art collection that reflects and interprets that very philosophy and story.
